Dana Hall is located 12 miles from Boston
and is the only girls’ boarding school in the metropolitan area.
The center of Wellesley
is a five-minute walk from campus and is home to many shops and restaurants. It
is a safe and welcoming community, and on weekends Dana students often stroll
down the street for a frozen yogurt treat or to hop on a train for a 30-minute
ride to Boston. There they can take
in a dance, music or theater performance, visit outstanding museums, sample
international cuisines, or peruse endless boutiques. Outdoor lovers can find
their way to the sandy coast of New England or a
mountainous hiking trail. The Greater Boston area also extends Dana Hall’s
educational resources, with faculty leading field trips to the Museum
of Fine Arts, Plimoth Plantation,
and labs in the city’s world-class health care centers.
