6th Grade Maternity Leave position

Dana Hall School  has an opening for a maternity leave position teaching 6th grade beginning December 6, 2010. The position entails teaching two periods of math and two periods of English daily, as well as serving as a 6th grade advisor, proctoring study halls, and supervising an afternoon club. Immediate Opening: Intern, Learning Specialist

Dana Hall School seeks a mature and responsible graduate student who is committed to and passionate about helping students be successful in the classroom. This individual will work with the Upper School Learning Specialist to assist 9th-12th grade students who have learning differences. Qualified candidates should have a keen interest in working one-on-one and in small groups with students to help reinforce their study skills and teach strategies in the areas of test preparation, reading comprehension, writing, and organization. This part-time position, requiring 12-15 hours weekly, offers a competitive stipend.
