Ready to explore

  My first class in college has been a history class comparing the societies, governments, and histories of the east and west. Basically, it is a class that ties together all of the history I learned at Dana Hall.  I have one paper a week which is between 5-7 pages, and I have 24 hours to write it. I thought I was going to die when I first heard about the paper situation. However, I was much more prepared than I thought.  I have been able to not freak out about papers at college. Instead I am able to make thoughtful arguments and explore subjects I am interested in without worrying about how to write a thesis statement or what a fragment sentence is.
