The moment I walked through the doors of the Dana Hall Middle School, it felt to me like a second home. I was a little bit scared in a whole new school, but other girls like me were experiencing the exact same thing, and I made friends in no time. I remember watching our classroom bunny, Darwin, hop around the room, looking at 29 new faces.
