Fit for life
Woven into the daily life of every Dana student, athletics play a central role in the mission of the School. You will be involved in some form of sports, fitness or wellness activity every trimester. Whatever your level of experience, there's a comfortable place at Dana for you to grow as an athlete, from our consistently strong and competitive varsity and junior varsity programs, to the informal fun of intramural play.
The team and the individual
We believe there's no better way for girls to practice leadership, initiative and teamwork than through competitive sports. At the same time, we also recognize the lifelong value of non-competitive exercise, from dance to aerobics, weight training to rock climbing. Dana is also one of the few New England schools to offer horseback riding, with full stable facilities right on campus.
As fulltime members of the Dana community, our coaches will come to know you as well as your teachers do, and will take equal care to help you master new challenges and surprise yourself with what you can achieve.
