The Dana Hall College Counseling Office is committed to facilitating the transition for every girl from Dana Hall to post-secondary educational opportunities.

This process begins formally in the junior year, when each student meets both individually and in a weekly Forum class with her college counselor to begin her college search and investigation. Each girl is encouraged to explore her own talents, strengths, and interests as she considers the many possible educational opportunities, including immediate entrance to college or university or an interim year of travel, service or work. A developmental counseling model is employed in an effort to meet the unique needs of every girl.

The College Counseling Office firmly believes that there are no best colleges, only colleges that are best for individual students. The individual attention that students receive from the college counselor, from the winter of the junior year through graduation, should help them identify their individual needs and goals and find programs and colleges that truly fit each student.
