Standardized testing can be nerve-wracking, but is usually a necessary step in the college application process. The Dana Hall College Counseling Office provides information to “demystify” what the tests are all about, and what is really required.
SAT and SAT Subject Tests and Test Dates 2011-12
What are they?
The SAT tests students’ reasoning based on knowledge and skills developed through their coursework. It contains three sections: critical reading, mathematics reasoning, and writing skills. Subject tests measure students' knowledge and skills in particular subject areas, as well as their ability to apply that knowledge.

ACT 2011-12
