Dana Hall's boarding program does not merely present students with a dorm to sleep and study; it gives girls the chance to grow within a community. Each group of personalities in any given dorm will present its own unique community environment. There are six dorms on the Dana Hall campus:

The Johnstons

A cluster of four dorms (Johnston A, B, C and D) are located in the center of campus overlooking the pond. One dorm is designated as freshmen only, but the Johnstons are home to sophomore and junior students as well.

Grey Lodge

A small house dorm features a large, comfortable living area and spacious kitchen. Grey Lodge is home to junior and senior students.

Wheeler

The larger house dorm that also includes a spacious shared living area and communal kitchen. Wheeler, like Grey Lodge, houses juniors and seniors.

Each dorm has a house director, house assistant, and student proctor. Dorm meetings are held regularly and special workshops and dorm trips make dorm living an enjoyable experience.
