Helping others feel at home

I'm from China. When I came for International Student Orientation, one of the proctors immediately saw me and pulled me to her and made me feel really good. I wasn't expecting anything that nice to happen! I made friends very easily, and the girl next door was from Hong Kong, so I felt very comfortable. My second year, I was a proctor for the orientation. One girl from mainland China didn't speak much English. I think I really helped her.
