| Cum Laude Society Inducts New Members |

Eight members of the Class of 2010 and 10 from the Class of 2011 were inducted into the Dana Hall Cum Laude Society on Tuesday, April 20. The 2010 class members are A. Balter, A. Boutet, K. Caffyn, A. Cheng, E. Green, J. Hurley, H. Kim and Z. Stanley-Lockman. Class of 2011 inductees are C. Baumann, E. Dickey, S. Durbin, S. Gord, L. Kim, The Cum Laude Society members are chosen based on their academic performance and scholarly achievements. Members of the junior and senior classes are eligible and must have been enrolled at Dana Hall for a minimum of five academic trimesters. The Cum Laude Society’s mission is to recognize “academic achievement in secondary schools for the purpose of promoting excellence (Areté), justice (Diké) and honor (Timé).” The Society by-laws only allow for 10% of the junior class, and 20% of the senior class to be inducted.  |
