Cum Laude Society Inducts New Members

Head of School Caroline Erisman is pleased to announce that nine members of the Class of 2009 and 10 from the Class of 2010 were inducted into the Dana Hall Cum Laude Society on Monday, April 27. 

The 2009 class members are A. Brown, A. Campanelli, L. Fisher, S. Gillespie, H. Hoar, A. Howard, S. Yun Hur, M. Lorusso, and S. Voorhees. Class of 2010 inductees are L. Barnes, J. Elwell, Y. Ju Jung, J. Lee, M. Jin Lee, E. Leghorn, V. Madigan, P. Pattana-Anek, K. Taft, and S. Venditti.

The Cum Laude Society members are chosen based on their academic performance and scholarly achievements.  Members of the junior and senior classes are eligible and must have been enrolled at Dana Hall for a minimum of five academic trimesters.  The Cum Laude Society's mission is to recognize "academic achievement in secondary schools for the purpose of promoting excellence (Areté), justice (Diké) and honor (Timé)."  The Society by-laws only allow for 10% of the junior class, and 20% of the senior class to be inducted.
