Even though school is out, activity on the Dana Hall School campus is in full swing with a variety of summer camps and programs. This summer, Dana Hall has introduced its new co-ed Squash and Tennis camp for ages 8-14. Camp Director Wendy Berry is a highly qualified racket sports coach with a passion for tennis and squash and is currently is the Head Squash Coach and an Assistant Professor at Wellesley College. Campers will enjoy a full day of instructional squash on four indoor courts, tennis on five outdoor courts, introduction to proper stretching and conditioning, daily free swim and a nutritional lunch as they develop new skills, gain self-confidence and have fun. The camp offers five, one-week sessions: June 22 - 26, June 29 - July 3, July 6 - 10, July 13 - 17, and July 27 - 31. Now in its third year, the Dana Hall Summer Camp offers unique activities ranging from scaling a 34-foot climbing wall to scuba diving and snorkeling. This co-ed camp for children ages 6-14 also offers opportunities in fencing, golf, and fitness/wellness. Campers are grouped by age and receive instruction tailored to their age-level abilities. The three camp sessions are June 22 - July 3, July 6 - 17, and July 20 - July 31. The Dana Hall Riding Center Horsemanship Camp helps campers develop their skills in riding, horse care, and stable management. Hands on activities and demonstrations enable children to explore all aspects of horsemanship. The camp offers four two-week sessions June 15-August 21 for campers ages 8-14 with ability ranging from beginner through advanced. In addition to camps, Dana Hall also is hosting summer programs including Mazemakers and a Math and Science Workshop.
