| Dana Raises Money, Collects Food |
|
In partnership with the Union United Methodist Church in Boston, the Dana Hall community will feed nearly 100 families during the Thanksgiving holidays.
Advisor groups each decorated a cardboard box called a "Turkey Box," which they then filled with food they collected for an assigned family/families. The boxes of food were delivered to the church on Tuesday, November 25 following Dana's annual Thanksgiving Convocation. In addition to delivering the boxes to the families in need, the most creative boxes were displayed on stage in Bardwell Auditorium during Convocation. Dana Hall's Community Service Advisory Board also sold tickets to raise money to provide turkeys for the families from the church. In total, $500 was raised and given to the Union United Methodist Church. |
