Faculty Member Featured at Art Gallery

Dana Hall Academic Dean Nancy Rich will share an exhibit of her photographs in the Dana Hall Art Gallery December 1 through December 8, 2009. The show, entitled Afloat on the Tide, features images of the beautiful shells and seaweeds that wash up on the ocean shore plus images of dinghies - the small boats found all along the northeast coast. Rich has published a collection of her dinghy photographs in a book of the same title. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

Rich will hold a book signing on Wednesday, December 2 from 2:15 to 4 p.m. The gallery will hold special hours Saturday, Dec. 5, from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. The Afloat on the Tide closing reception is scheduled for Tuesday, December 8 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Rich will direct 10% from the sale of the book and 50% from the sale of all photographs to support financial aid funding at Dana Hall.
