Students from more than 20 different schools attended the one-day conference. In the end, the Dana Hall team saw six of their seven resolutions pass and took home six awards.

Outstanding Delegate Awards went to C. Lyons ’12 and N. Panahi ’15. Best Delegate honors were given to M. Palmer ’12, C. Plapinger ’12, M. Pontes ’12, and C. Noonan ’12.

“While some of our students got awards, all of our participants were rock stars,” said Social Studies teacher and Model UN advisor Heather Panahi. “Thank you and congratulations to all team members. They made this coach very proud!”

Dana’s Model UN team will travel to Philadelphia January 26-29 to compete in the University of Pennsylvania Ivy League Model UN Invitational.
