School of Music Holds Halloween Open House

The Dana Hall School of Music will hold its first annual Halloween Open House with Musical Trick-or-Treating Sunday, October 30 from 3-5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Families and children of all ages are invited to come in costume and participate in seasonal sing-a-longs, music playgroups, crafts, instrument discovery, trick-or-treating and more. There will be i candy and the sounds of a different musical instrument behind each door.

School of Music Director Jennifer Gaul began producing musical trick-or-treat events when she was the Executive Director of Turtle Bay Music School in New York, N.Y. “Families needed a fun, safe, family-friendly place to go for Halloween,” explained Gaul. “Why not make it more than that? Why not give families a creative environment filled with opportunities to experience music in its many forms. The event was a huge hit year after year, so it is something I am very happy  to bring to this community.”

The School of Music is located at 103 Grove St. in Wellesley. For more information call (781) 237-6542 or e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
