The Dana Hall School Art Gallery will feature an exhibit by David A. Lang titled Sculpture from October 20 through November 24, 2009. An opening reception is planned for October 20 from 5-7 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Lang's sculptures are kinetic, making slow movements that sometime feature sounds. "I build interactive sculpture that is whimsical and serious" said Lang. "They pay homage to the world situations around us. Virtually every piece has numerous different visual interactions taking place, depending on your vantage point."
The Dana Hall Art Gallery provides a program of exhibitions by local and visiting artists throughout the academic year for the Dana Hall and surrounding communities. The Gallery is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m.-1 p.m. It is closed weekends and school holidays.
