Senior Art Show on Display in Dana Hall Art Gallery

The Dana Hall Art Gallery presents the annual Senior Art Show featuring the artwork of the Class of 2008. The show begins Monday, April 7 and runs through Friday, April 25. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

The annual exhibit gives students a feel for what it is like to curate a show of their own. Every senior is invited to submit their work, even if they are not currently enrolled in an art class. This year’s exhibit will feature a wide variety of mediums including paintings, photographs, drawings, ceramics, video, and sculptures.

“This show gives students an opportunity to take ownership of their work as exhibiting artists,” said Michael Frassinelli, co-director of the Dana Hall Art Gallery.

The Dana Hall Art Gallery is located on the second floor of the Classroom Building. The Gallery is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is closed during weekends and school holidays.
