Small Ensembles and Chamber Music (children, teens, adults) An important and enjoyable part of music making is playing in a group setting. There are many different ways to do so from chamber music to rock bands and beyond. Ensembles are formed based on age, level, genre and appropriate instrumentation. Participation requires the ability to read music and a minimum of two years of instrumental study. Ensembles are coached by one of The School of Music's outstanding faculty, who will match student levels and assign appropriate music. Groups are scheduled according to players’ and instructors’ availability. Groups that are already organized are welcome to join this program.
