Around campus

From the halls of the Classroom Building, to the pool in the Shipley Center, to the Bardwell stage, there’s always something exciting happening on Dana’s campus. You won’t have to look too hard to find a place where students and teachers are learning, laughing and growing.

Personal connections

Until I came to Dana Hall I never felt a personal connection with my teachers and administrators. In my middle school teachers were there to, well, teach you and the principal was there to make sure you follow the rules that was it. At Dana, it's different than that; here your teachers and administrators are there to help, teach and guide you. They might show up on duty in the dorm one night, or at a sports game, or they might just be a listening ear when you're having a bad day.

An advisor stands out

My very first day at Dana as a freshman I was really nervous. It was on move in day in the Dining Center when my advisor stopped me and asked I if I was Ruby. I said yes, and she said that she was my advisor. Of course, I couldn't figure out how, never having met me, she knew it was me, and I didn't know what a big role your advisor plays in the Dana community. But I knew I would be just fine.
