Living at Dana Hall

Dana Hall dorms are not just four walls and a place to store your stuff – they serve as your home base within a caring community. There, you’ll learn to live with others, start lifelong friendships, gain important skills, and ready yourself for living on your own in college and beyond.

Learning beyond the classroom

As a boarder, I learn from teachers much more than their subject matter. I had never really thought of teachers as a support system until I came to Dana. Living on campus, you see some of your teachers all the time, and at first I caught myself saying "Wow! They have lives outside of school?" Soon, that became a lost thought.

Figuring things out for yourself

Becoming a boarder, I essentially moved out of my parents' house, enabling me to really grow up and be my own person. It's challenging, but it forces you to mature. I never thought I would be able to manage my own money and time without my parents. But, having accomplished this, I am that much more prepared for the "real world."
