Dana Hall School is offering climbing programs to take members of the community to new heights. There are two programs, Kids Climb for children and Coffee Climb: Adult Fitness and Strength Building through Climbing. Equipment will be provided by Dana Hall School.
Kids Climb
• For ages 3-5, weekly climbing class on Wednesday or Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. • For ages 5 and over, weekly climbing on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, 12:30 to 2 p.m. • Session 1 will run for 10 weeks; sessions 2 and 3 will run for 8 weeks • Improve fitness through climbing, stretching, walking (indoor), and games • Gain confidence, learn problem solving skills, and improve hand eye coordination • 6:1 student to instructor ratio • Experienced, knowledgeable, patient, and supportive instructor • Fee is $250 for 10-week session and $200 for 8-week sessions
Coffee Climb: Adult Fitness and Strength Building through Climbing
• Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. • Eight-week sessions • Open to beginners and/or climbers of any level • Learn basic skills and risk management for indoor climbing • Practice fundamentals of movement on the vertical plane • Understand equipment, knots, climbing signals, belaying and lowering and more • Gain proficiency to pass belay tests for other climbing gyms • 6:1 student to instructor ratio • Experienced, knowledgeable, patient, supportive instructor • $200 per session for once a week, $400 per session for twice a week
