Dance Faculty

Devon Fitchett, Director of Dance at Dana Hall School, received her early training under the direction of Jim Viera and Jeannette Neill at Boston Youth Moves. She continued dancing at Bates College where she received her B.A. in American Cultural Studies with a secondary concentration in Dance. She performed with Boston’s Prometheus Dance in 2003 and was a member of Ben Munisteri Dance Projects in New York, NY from 2003-2005. Ms. Fitchett also taught master classes at high schools and universities while touring nationally with BMDP.  In 2006, she traveled to Ecuador where she taught master classes and performed at the Central University of Ecuador and Frente de Danza in La Casa de Cultura. In addition to her position at Dana Hall, Ms. Fitchett has served on the faculty of the Jeannette Neill Dance Studio, the Jeannette Neill Children’s program, and Boston Youth Moves teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced children, teens, and adults in disciplines including Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop.
