| Riding Center Horsemanship Camp |
During the summer, Dana Hall School Riding Center instructors offer an intensive and fun-filled camp.Campers develop their skills in riding, horse care, and stable management. The program focuses on hunt-seat equitation and emphasizes safety, learning control, correct position, and on developing confidence at beginning through advanced levels. Each rider experiences a classroom without boundaries that inspires discipline, responsibility and teamwork. Hands on activities and demonstrations enable children to explore all aspects of horsemanship and discover the secrets of the equine mind. Riders have the opportunity to participate in both a gymkhana and a camp horse show during their time at camp. The Dana Hall School Riding Center Camp offers three two-week sessions (day camp only). Each session is open to riders whose ability ranges from beginner through advanced and each session is limited to 12 riders.
