In order to keep Dana Hall's visitors, students, and faculty safe during the current global pandemic, we are offering a full slate of virtual Admission events for applicants and families interested in applying for the 2021-22 school year. We are excited that the virtual format will allow us to bring our campus and community to more applicants and their families. Please join us!

Admission 101 Events

  • Admission 101 - Thursday, September 24th, 7pm

    An informal drop-in session for prospective families to learn more about Dana Hall's Admission and Financial Aid process and our special programs. The session will include a presentation followed by Q&A. Special focus will be given to the application process from community-based organizations. Please join us!

  • What's Next? Navigating Your School Search Process in a Virtual World - September 29 (7-8pm), October 8th (7-8pm), October 13th (8-9am)

    Join Angela Brown, Dana Hall's Director of Enrollment Management and Marketing, and four other admission Directors as they offer guidance on making the most of your virtual school search process.

  • Middle School Virtual Open House - Thursday, October 1, 5pm

    Come discover Dana Hall’s Middle School. Attend demo classes to experience the dynamic teaching of our faculty and the variety of curricular offerings at each grade level. Learn about the Dana Hall difference from faculty, administrators, and current students. This event is for both students and their parents/guardians.

  • Upper School Prospective Family Virtual Coffee - Tuesday, October 6, 7pm

    Hear from the Director of the Upper School, Jessica Keimowitz, as well as faculty, a current student and a parent as they share their perspectives on the Upper School at Dana Hall.  This event will also give prospective students and parents/guardians an opportunity to ask questions.

  • Upper School Virtual Open House, Saturday, October 17, 9am

    Join us for an introduction to the breadth and depth of the curriculum in Dana Hall’s Upper School. Attend demo classes to experience Dana Hall’s dynamic teaching and learning. Hear from current students and administrators about academic and co-curricular offerings, as well as the student experience.  This event is for both students and their parents/guardians.

  • 5th Grade Prospective Family Virtual Coffee - Thursday, November 5, 5pm:

     
     
     
    Hear from the Director of the Middle School, Dr. Lauren Goldberg, as well as a faculty member, a current student and a parent as they share with you what makes the 5th grade at Dana Hall unique.  This event will also give prospective students and parents/guardians an opportunity to ask questions.

  • Athletics Virtual Open House - Thursday, November 12, 6pm

     
    Join us to learn about the variety and scope of the athletic and equestrian offerings at Dana Hall School. Meet Varsity coaches, Middle School coaches, and team captains. Hear from current Dana Hall athletes and an alumna about their athletic experiences at Dana Hall and beyond. This event is for prospective athletes and their families.

  • Upper School Student Virtual Panel - Monday, December 7, 7pm

    Join us to hear from several Upper School students about what makes Dana Hall unlike any other learning environment a girl will ever experience. This event will be a Q&A format moderated by Director of Community, Equity, and Inclusion, Erica Ramirez, with questions submitted directly from prospective students and parents.

  • 6th Grade Prospective Family Virtual Coffee - December 15, 5pm

    Hear from the Director of the Middle School, Dr. Lauren Goldberg, as well as a faculty member, a current student and a parent as they share with you what makes the 6th grade at Dana Hall unique.  This event will also give prospective students and parents/guardians an opportunity to ask questions.  Though this event will focus on the 6th grade experience, families applying to other Middle School grades are also welcome to attend.

  • 7th and 8th Grade Prospective Family Virtual Coffee - Tuesday, January 5, 5pm

  • Head of School Virtual Coffee for Parents/Guardians of Applicants - Monday, February 8, 9am

    Head of School Katherine Bradley will share her perspective on what makes Dana Hall unique, and will also be joined by Upper School Director Jessica Keimowitz; Director of the Middle School Dr. Lauren Goldberg; Academic Dean Nia Jacobs; and Director of Community, Equity and Inclusion Erica Ramirez. Parents/Guardians will also have the opportunity to ask questions.  This event is designed for parents/guardians of students who have submitted applications to Dana Hall.

Zoom Tips and Reminders

One Day Prior to Event:

  • Ensure you have a registered Zoom account. We are operating all of our events under Dana Hall School’s Zoom account and guidelines. All Zoom participants must login via registered Zoom accounts for access to our virtual events. If you do not sign into your Zoom account, you will receive an error message requiring ‘authentication.’
  • Verify your Zoom software (or app) is updated. Zoom sometimes releases updates to its software or app. Allow time to update the latest version of Zoom prior to your scheduled event.

Day of Event:

  • Check your email for Zoom link and password. Registered guests will receive an automated email 2 days prior to the event. Your reminder email will include the Zoom link and password to access the event.

I never in my wildest dreams thought I’d be visiting South Africa, let alone with some of my closest friends. The trip enabled us to interact with real South Africans as they experienced their real lives, an opportunity I could never have had as a tourist."
