Returning Families

Application Timeline

Families are expected to adhere to all of the following financial aid deadlines. Incomplete applications cannot be considered.

December 1, 2021: DEADLINE FOR PFS
  • A PFS form must be submitted by each parent if divorced or separated and filing separate tax returns on the SSS website. Print and keep a copy of the form for your records
December 1, 2021: DEADLINE FOR 2019 AND 2020 TAX RETURNS
  • Tax returns are required from both parents if divorced, separated, or filing separately.
  • Once your 2022-23 PFS is submitted, your 2019 and 2020 tax documents will be visible to Dana Hall's Financial Aid Office. Please verify that your 2019 and 2020 tax returns, including W-2 forms and 1040 forms, all supporting schedules, and Business Farm Statements, if applicable, are attached to your 2022-23 financial aid application in SSS.
DECISIONS
  • The Financial Aid Committee will notify its financial aid decisions to returning families before March 1, 2022
  • Families must upload their 2021 tax forms by April 15, 2022.

Please note: There are always more requests than there is available aid. The Committee reserves the right to recalculate an award if there is a significant difference in financial resources. Please note that any delays in submitting all required information may jeopardize the renewal of your award, your daughter’s eligibility to run for 2021-22 leadership positions, and/or access to trimester grades and comments.

"Dana offers many great opportunities including a trip to South Africa every other year. I never in my wildest dreams thought I’d be visiting South Africa, let alone with some of my closest friends. The trip enabled us to interact with real South Africans as they experienced their real lives, an opportunity I could never have had as a tourist."
