Senior-Sophomore
My favorite Dana Hall tradition is Senior-Sophomore. It was a great experience, and it allowed me to get a lot closer not only to my sophomore classmates, but to the senior class as well. With all the great traditions, I’m sure the answer to this question will change throughout my time at Dana. If I were asked this question a year ago, I would have said Cabaret, and if I were asked in a year, I bet I would answer MidWinter or Revels.
weekly current event assignments
My favorite assignment at Dana has been the series of weekly current event assignments I’ve been writing in my Middle Eastern Studies class. These assignments have challenged me to figure out what interests me and research it deeply. They have really brought the history we are learning to life by tying it in to important events in the world today.
English class
Even though math and science come most naturally to me, I have found myself falling absolutely head over heels in love with my English classes. They have helped me grow and develop as not only a writer but a thinker. My English teachers have become role models and mentors and have taught me the skills I need to take on the world with style.
