Tuition and Payment Plans

The Activity Deposit covers weekend activities, class retreats, field trips and other extracurricular activities. Any unused activity deposit balance will be applied to the next year's tuition or refunded at the end of the academic school year, if graduating or not returning.

It is difficult to itemize miscellaneous expenses because of individual circumstances, but the following items should be kept in mind as you plan your budget: books and supplies, iPad, athletic equipment and spending money. Generally, additional expenses are estimated to be between $500 to $1,500 per school year. There are additional fees for riding lessons, private music instruction and any outside, private academic tutoring, if needed. Students who do not have adequate health insurance and all international students are required to purchase Health and Accident Insurance offered through the School at a cost to be determined.

A tuition refund plan is available to all parents. The plan insures a family's tuition obligation to the school (prepaid and due) in the event of extended absence or separation during the academic year, according to the terms of the Policy.  The 2023-24 school year rates for tuition refund insurance are $760 for day students and $937 for boarding students. Tuition Refund Plan 2024-25

Full payment of tuition and activity deposit due July 15.

60% tuition and 100% activity deposit due July 15. 40% tuition due December 1.

10-Month Payment Plan ($100 administration fee), first payment due May 1.

Payments to Dana Hall School may be made online in the Student Billing section of DanaConnect. You also can pay by check, money order or wire transfer.
