Please note: all events coming from Dana Hall's Zoom Account are protected with our security measures to prevent outsiders from entering. All registrants are required to create a Zoom account. Please go to and create an account. You will then be "authenticated" to use our zoom meetings.

  • Wednesday, October 6

    • 1–2 p.m. - Conversation with Head of School Katherine Bradley
    • 2–2:30 p.m. - Break
    • 2:30–3:30 p.m. - Dana Hall History with Archivist Dorothy DeSimone P06, 10
      Dana Hall School has a rich history dating back 140 years when two sisters and teachers from Wellesley College were asked by the College President to start a preparatory school in an old church building down Grove Street. Since then Dana Hall has had 10 subsequent heads of school, and an (almost) completely changed campus. In this presentation, the Dana Hall Archivist will share early photos of students, faculty, buildings, uniforms, and traditions, as well as documents such as the first student newspaper, and some noteworthy letters.
    • 3:30 p.m. - Individual Class Gatherings for Reflections, Remembrances and Sharing
      This time is set aside to remember, reflect and honor your classmates who have passed, to share stories about your Dana Hall days and to sing your class song.
  • Thursday, October 7

    • 1–2 p.m. - Afternoon Poetry Teatime with English Department Head Linda Derezinski
    • 2–2:30 p.m. - Break
    • 2:30–3:30 p.m. - Student Panel

The trip enabled us to interact with real South Africans as they experienced their real lives, an opportunity I could never have had as a tourist."
