Young Alumnae Giving Challenge

Thanks to the 247 young alums who supported the 2020 Young Alumnae Giving Challenge! During a year no one will forget, the commUNITY of Dana Hall silver sisters came together to give back.

We’ve tallied the numbers: Our young alums raised $6,523 for The SHADES Alumni Endowed Fund for Racial Equity Programming and $11,592 for The Dana Fund. A special thank you to the 78 donors in the Classes of 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Our anonymous alumna donor agreed to add $100 to each donation made in those five classes, adding an additional $7,800 to the challenge. Altogether, donors to this year’s Young Alumnae Giving Challenge gave a grand total of $25,915!

Extra recognition goes out to the three classes with the highest participation rate: the Classes of 2008, 2009 and 2012. Congratulations!

"Dana offers many great opportunities including a trip to South Africa every other year. I never in my wildest dreams thought I’d be visiting South Africa, let alone with some of my closest friends. The trip enabled us to interact with real South Africans as they experienced their real lives, an opportunity I could never have had as a tourist."
