Theatre

All the world’s a stage....especially for Dana Hall actors.

Both Middle and Upper School produce separate, full-scale productions each year. In addition, students may perform in class productions, area competitions, musicals, dramatic plays, and collaborate with local boys’ schools. 

Students take courses in Acting (from beginning to advanced levels) and Technical Theatre, where they explore fundamentals of scenery design and construction, lighting and sound. The greater Boston area offers many additional opportunities for special training and attending professional performances.
