Fitness and Sports Medicine
We know that fitness is a critical part of athletic success and overall health and well being. Designed for athletes of all levels, our program is designed to meet the varying needs of our Middle and Upper School students.
Team sports are not the only avenue for Dana Hall students to gain the essential health benefits of fitness and athletics. Fitness classes include strength training, rock climbing, spin cycling, sports performance, lifeguarding, tai chi, yoga and Pilates. Athletes train in our fitness center featuring a full-line of Matrix and LifeFitness cardiovascular, selectorized and free weight equipment.
Dana Hall’s certified athletic trainers provide health-care services that focus on the prevention of injury, emergency care, clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries or other medical conditions.
They are focused on preventing injury and maintaining our athletes’ ability to compete safely. In the Athletic Training Room, student-athletes receive treatment, care, preventive assistance, and rehabilitation.
