Volleyball

Head Coach: Kelvin Rivera-Castro

The Dana Hall volleyball program provides an environment where young women can reach their academic, athletic, and personal potential. We inspire student-athletes to develop the skills necessary to succeed, individually and as a team.

Dana Hall's volleyball program embraces Dragon pride, and our players compete with passion. They are taught mental toughness so that they can navigate the adversity during practices, matches, as well as in the classroom. Overall our volleyball program strives to make every student-athlete, regardless of team placement, a better player, leader, and young person.

Our role as coaches is to develop relationships with our student-athletes based on trust and respect. We carefully guide student-athletes out of their comfort zones to achieve their highest potential. As coaches, we must be patient, supportive, and compassionate; we must also be clear and honest in communicating our expectations and decisions. We believe that hard work and discipline are essential for a successful program, and we are committed to pushing and supporting our student-athletes.
