The KSEC Summer Program offers two-week sessions. During a two-week session, riders lesson once per day for one-hour each, participate in horsemanship workshops in the barn as well as enjoy lunch on the barn patio before going home for the day. Each session is open to riders whose ability ranges from beginner through advanced with small group sizes to give the best possible instruction. The KSEC Summer program is open to riders ages 8-15 years old.
The extended day portion of the camp is offered for session III only and will consist of a smaller group than in the regular 8:30 – 1:00 camp session. After lunch, the riders will participate in additional riding and horsemanship activities enabling them to spend more time with the horses, in the saddle, and in the barn.
The end of each camp session will culminate in a horse show, where parents and families are invited to come and watch the riders show off all they have learned over their two weeks of camp.
Riders are responsible for bringing an ASTM certified helmet, hard-soled boots, riding pants, water bottle, snack, and a lunch.
