Reunion Giving

Reunion gifts matter more than ever!

Your support during these unprecedented times is perhaps more important than ever. In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Dana Hall was able to quickly pivot to a distance learning program, thanks in part to the School’s 1:1 iPad program and generous
alumnae community. Please make your reunion gift before June 30, 2020, which is the end of our fiscal year.

In addition, the School recently created the DanaCares Fund to help meet the needs of the Dana community during this pandemic. Supporting your alma mater with a gift to the Cares Fund also will count as a reunion gift and towards your class gift total.

Reunion Giving Class Award Competition

Congratulations to the 50th Reunion Class of 1970 who won both competition awards!

  • 43% of the classmates made a gift
  • Gifts totaled $70,006
We will present Class of 1970 with their awards at Reunion 2021 next April.

Kudos to the 45th Reunion Class of 1975 for their largest class gift ever: $24,962.

Special recognition to the Classes of 2005, 2010 and 2015: Each class achieved more than  20% participation, mostly due to the Young Alumnae Challenge last November.

How is your class doing? Check out the numbers to the right.

There is still time to make a gift and make a difference. Your gifts to the Dana Fund or the Dana Cares Fund are especially important this year. Contributions made to the Dana Fund and Dana Cares Fund by June 30 will also be added to these totals.

On average, 25% of alumnae Dana Fund dollars result from Reunion giving. Not only are the dollars raised by a class significant, so too is the number of donors in each class.

"Dana offers many great opportunities including a trip to South Africa every other year. I never in my wildest dreams thought I’d be visiting South Africa, let alone with some of my closest friends. The trip enabled us to interact with real South Africans as they experienced their real lives, an opportunity I could never have had as a tourist."
