Girls learning, leading, succeeding

Celebrating Our Successes

The end of the calendar year is both a time to reflect on past accomplishments and look forward to what lies ahead. As we consider the last 12 months, Dana Hall has many achievements and milestones to celebrate.
  • More than 200 alumnae reconnected with each other and with Dana Hall at Reunion events in May and October.
  • During a two-week trip to Asia, Director of Alumnae Relations Heather Glavin Yetman ’06 and Head of School Katherine Bradley met nearly 40 Dana alumnae at stops in Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok and Hong Kong.
  • In November, 312 alumnae from the Classes of 2004–2018 participated in the 2018 Young Alumnae Giving Challenge, raising $15,146, easily surpassing the initial goal of 250 donors and unlocking a match of $25,000.
  • The campus benefited from important improvements, including the renovation of the Johnston D dormitory, refurbished seating and floors in Bardwell, and a new outdoor riding ring and paddocks for the Karen Stives ’68 Equestrian Center.
The School also continues to benefit from loyal philanthropic support. Last year, the Dana community raised more than $2 million in Dana Fund donations. With your help, we are on our way to even greater success this year. We’re focused on increasing the percentage of alumnae who participate in the Dana Fund, which means that every gift, at any level, matters. Together, our alumnae can send a resolute message of support for this special place. Support the Dana Fund now.
To receive tax credit for 2018, please make your gift by December 31.

"My favorite Dana Hall memory would be the first time I ever sang the Alma Mater with my fellow classmates. That was most definitely the first time I felt like I was truly a part of something. Joining hands with my future Silver Sisters made me truly feel like I was a Dana girl."
