Top Honors for Riders

The Equestrian Team has had a busy spring competition schedule. The past two weekends, the team has competed at Grazing Fields Farms in Bourne, Mass., and taken home many top honors.
 
April 28 results:
  • G. Field ’21 – 1st place in 1.10m jumper
  • A. Thames ’24 – champion of Child Adult Special Hunters out of 13 competitors, winner of Bit o Straw Child/Adult Special Hunter Classic
  • A. Dogani ’22 – 2nd place in .80-.85 jumpers
  • A. Houston ’21 – multiple class winner, reserve champion of the .80-.85 jumpers and reserve champion of the .90-.95 jumpers
  • P. Young ’25 – winner of the MHJ Children's Pony medal
  • E. Demler ’25 – champion of the Children's Pony division
  • A. Hornblower ’25 – champion of Outreach Children’s Adult Equitation and reserve champion of Outreach Children’s Adult Hunter
  • K. Marth ’24 – champion of Long Stirrup Hunter
  • Alumna Meredith Rippert ’17 – reserve champion of Bit o Straw Child/Adult Special Hunter Classic 
  • Johnston D House Director Grayson Arango – reserve champion of Child/Adult Special Hunters out of 13
 
May 5 results:
  • A. Hamzaogullari ’24 – champion of Outreach Equitation and reserve champion of Outreach Hunters
  • Demler – reserve champion of Outreach Hunters
  • Thames – champion of the Children's Hunters (in her debut at 3’!)
  • Marth – class winner in the Long Stirrup Hunters
