Girls learning, leading, succeeding

Sisters Visit Sister School

In early September, Mary Fulham ’13 and Elizabeth Fulham ’16, both former members of Dana Hall's award-winning Model UN team, traveled to Tokyo to help students in Tokyo Jogakkan School's (TJK) international class prepare for their third annual in-school Model UN conference. This year's topic was the Syrian refugee crisis. On September 7, the Fulham sisters chaired TJK's conference.
“I was so lucky to be able to travel to TJK for the first time and be welcomed into the school by the students, teachers and my host family,” Elizabeth Fulham said. “We were impressed by how confident the students were from the beginning of the conference. Model UN can be difficult to understand, but this did not dissuade the students from speaking and participating. They all represented their countries extremely well. I'm grateful that Dana Hall still gives me opportunities to expand my world view!”

"My favorite Dana Hall memory would be the first time I ever sang the Alma Mater with my fellow classmates. That was most definitely the first time I felt like I was truly a part of something. Joining hands with my future Silver Sisters made me truly feel like I was a Dana girl."
