Dana Hall Wraps Up a Dominant Spring Season

This month, Dana Hall’s spring varsity athletic teams closed the books on their spring seasons. At the end-of-season banquet, coaches honored achievements in lacrosse, tennis and softball, and recognized outstanding players with individual honors.

Season Highlights

  • Varsity Lacrosse was both Eastern Independent League (EIL) League Champions and EIL Tournament Champions, and L. Heald ’27 was named the EIL Player of the Year.
  • Varsity Tennis was EIL League Champions and advanced to the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class B Quarterfinals where they finished in 6th place. Head Coach Maureen Sumner was named EIL Coach of the Year.
  • The Athletic Equestrian League (AEL) Team earned the title of Reserve Champions (2nd place) at Nationals.
  • S. Snyder ’26 (Occidental College, swimming), K. Poirier ’26 (Middlebury College, squash) and B. Mather ’26 (Denison University, soccer) signed ceremonial letters marking their intent to pursue Division III athletics at the collegiate level.

Equestrian

Dana Hall riders earned an incredible Reserve Champion finish at the AEL Nationals in May against a highly competitive field of teams from across the country. Throughout the competition, riders demonstrated exceptional horsemanship, sportsmanship, teamwork and determination. Congratulations to all of the riders who qualified for and competed at Nationals:
