New Year, New Faces

A new school year means lots of new faces on campus. Dana Hall School welcomes the following new faculty and staff members in 2025-26:
 
Carla de Aguilar-Amat is an Upper School French teacher. She has more than 15 years of
experience in teaching Romance languages to students from preschool to high school, most recently at Dexter Southfield. She earned a master’s degree from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Bachelor of Arts from the Universitat de Barcelona.
 
Genesis Lopez De Leon joins the Admission team as an Assistant Director of Admission. She previously worked as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at the Goddard School and a College Access Coach at the MetroWest College Planning Collaborative. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from UMass Amherst and an Associate of Arts from MassBay Community College.
 
Kevin Jiang is an Upper School Math teacher. He most recently served as a Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University, and previously taught Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science at Phillips Academy. He earned a Master of Fine Arts from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science from Yale University.
 
Lauren Kelly joins the English department as an Upper School teacher. She most recently taught English at St. Mark’s School. She earned a Master of Arts from the University of York in the U.K. and a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Holyoke College.
 
As previously announced, Alyse Ruiz-Selsky is the Director of the Upper School. She most recently served as the Director of Studies and English teacher at Concord Academy. She earned a Master of Science from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.
 
Sarah Rose Taylor is a new Upper School French teacher. She has more than 17 years of
experience teaching in France and the United States, most recently at Ursuline Academy. She earned her master’s degree from La Sorbonne in Paris and her Bachelor of Arts from The University of London Institute in Paris.
 
As previously announced, Wendy Skinner will serve in the role of Interim Upper School Dean of Students this year. An independent school leader with more than 30 years of experience in student life (including at Dana Hall from 1995-2006), she most recently served as Dean of Residential Life at King's Academy in Madaba, Jordan. Mrs. Skinner earned her master’s degree from Boston University and Bachelor of Arts from William Smith College.
 
Zora Woodsum joins the English department as an Upper School teacher. She most recently taught English at Concord Academy, where she was also a Wilcox Fellow in English. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College.
 
Anne Quigley will be covering Carlton Wheeler-Omiunu’s family leave as an Interim Associate Director of Admission. She most recently worked as an Associate Director of Admission at Milton Academy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Boston University.
 
The following employees joined the Dana Hall community last winter:
 
Sarah Green is the Administrative Assistant in the College Counseling Office. She most
recently worked at the Wellesley Holiday Boutique and previously at Noble and Greenough School. She earned a Bachelor of Science from St. Lawrence University.
 
Carlos González is a member of the Upper School World Languages department. They
defended their Ph.D. thesis at Harvard University in May, where they worked as a teaching fellow and teaching assistant. They earned a Master of Arts from Harvard University, a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College, and an Associate of Arts from Tunxis Community College.
