Girls learning, leading, succeeding
myDANA
Dana girls are curious, collaborative, respectful and enthusiastic. They are leaders: leaders of clubs, activities, sport teams and more. They are also aware of the many types of leadership, understanding that a supporting role is just as important as taking the lead. They know that Dana Hall is a place where they can be themselves and are encouraged to be who they want to be. See what they have to say about about their school.

Favorite Dana Tradition

Step Sing

After each major Dana Hall event, the whole school gathers in Common Ground for Step Sing. Each class holds their class banner and chants their own class song that they wrote. It’s a really great time because it’s so loud and energetic, and all grades gather together as a community.

Favorite Dana Assignments

Trip to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston

I really enjoyed our class trip to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston for Western Civilization. We had to take notes on pieces of Greek and Roman art that we found interesting, critiquing them using Greek standards of beauty. It was really interesting for me to make the connection from the past to present when I saw how the statues show standards of beauty we still go by today.

Favorite Dana Class

Spanish

My Spanish class is really mixed between grade levels, so I get to know upperclassmen better. It has also helped me greatly improve my speaking and writing skills in the language.

Favorite Dana Hall Activity

Blue Key

Blue Key is my favorite club. I love giving tours to people interested in Dana because of the new faces I get to meet and the ability to share all I know about my school with them.

Favorite Place on Campus

Dining Center

The Dining Center because it has a beautiful view of the whole campus and is an awesome place to laugh and talk with friends.

Favorite Dana Hall Memory

Harbor Cruise

On the annual Harbor Cruise, I had a great time making new friends and connecting with people I already knew.
