Girls learning, leading, succeeding
myDANA
Dana girls are curious, collaborative, respectful and enthusiastic. They are leaders: leaders of clubs, activities, sport teams and more. They are also aware of the many types of leadership, understanding that a supporting role is just as important as taking the lead. They know that Dana Hall is a place where they can be themselves and are encouraged to be who they want to be. See what they have to say about about their school.

FAVORITE DANA TRADITION

Midwinter

Midwinter is my favorite Dana Hall tradition. It bonded members of my class together with each other, and with Dana alumnae. This tradition shows the true spirit of Dana: sisterhood.

Favorite Dana Assignment

Area Studies Symposium

I greatly enjoyed participating in the 10th grade Area Studies Symposium. The research and writing we did to prepare for the day of debate was immensely helpful, not only in furthering my research skills but also in expanding my understanding of human migration, which was the theme for my year.

Favorite Dana Class

Middle Eastern Studies

Middle Eastern Studies has been my favorite Dana Hall class because both the teacher and the discussions always kept me engaged and excited to learn more. This class was particularly helpful for me to understand the ever-changing state of affairs in the Middle East through our weekly current events discussions.

My Favorite Dana Hall Activity

Blue Key Club

Being both a member and co-head of Dana’s Blue Key Club has been my favorite Dana Hall activity. I love giving tours to prospective students, their families and other visitors because it allows me the time to share and reflect on what makes Dana such a special place to me.

Favorite Place on Campus

The “Pit”

The “Pit” is my favorite place on campus because I get to hangout and talk to my friends, and complete my schoolwork before my after-school commitments.

Favorite Dana Hall Memory

Senior-Sophomore

My favorite Dana Hall memory was the week of Senior-Sophomore, when a member of the senior class surprised me with posters, candy and a costume when I arrived to school each day. This tradition, as with many of Dana’s other traditions, helped me get to know students from other grades whom I may not have gotten to know otherwise.
