Girls learning, leading, succeeding
The Karen Stives '68 Equestrian Center

Interscholastic Equestrian Team

The Dana Hall Interscholastic Equestrian Team gives riders the opportunity to demonstrate their horsemanship skills as part of a team, both at the varsity and junior varsity level. This is a unique experience for many competitors, as riding is often considered an individual sport.
Throughout the season, more than 30 Dana Hall students participate in a variety of shows in the IEA Zone 1. Riders compete on horses provided by the host team, adding the additional challenge of an unfamiliar horse. Over the course of the season, riders work to accumulate points in an attempt to qualify for a National Finals at the end of the year. Dana Hall is proud to be the home of the 2008 and 2011 National Champion Middle School Team.
