Annual Report of Giving

MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL AND THE CHAIR OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

As we look back on a year of extraordinary philanthropy, we are grateful to the individuals who made contributions both large and small, signaling a strong and loyal community. On these web pages you will find the names of the generous donors who stepped forward and made Dana Hall a philanthropic priority in 2017-18. These contributors – parents (present and past), alumnae, grandparents, friends, students, faculty, staff and volunteers – raised a record-setting $2,016,583 for the Dana Fund and displayed the kind of leadership of which we all can be enormously proud. Beyond the Dana Fund, members of this community demonstrated their generosity time and again, when they supported our Blue and White Night event, made meaningful gifts to capital projects, bolstered our endowment, or signaled a commitment to future generations of Dana students by joining the Helen Temple Cooke Society.

Together, we established goals, demonstrated determination and surpassed our objectives. We hope you share our pride in this powerful legacy for Dana Hall School.

"I love playing basketball at Dana. Our team is really like a family, and we’ve grown so much over the three years I’ve been on the team. My freshman year I never would have thought that we would be able to win the EIL league, but this past winter we did! What makes the team so great is how we look out for each other on and off the court. My teammates are my biggest supporters and it’s always great when we get to welcome new members onto the team. I can’t wait to be captain next year."
