Nina Garcia '83

Nina Garcia '83 is a best-selling author, journalist and style expert. She is the current Creative Director at Marie Claire magazine and a judge on Project Runway. Previously, Garcia worked at Elle Magazine for 17 years. Garcia has appeared as a fashion expert on Good Morning America and The Today Show.
 
Garcia is the award-winning author of four fashion books, including The Little Black Book of Style and The One Hundred. Garcia is also the author of the new online series Decoding Style.

Garcia is originally from Colombia, and attended Boston University and the Fashion Institute of Technology after Dana Hall.
