Carol Cadwgan Lavell '61

Carol Cadwgan Lavell '61 is a world renowned dressage equestrian. As a member of the 1992 United States Olympic Equestrian Team, Lavell won a team bronze medal in dressage in Barcelona, Spain. Lavell was recognized in 1990 and 1992 as the US Olympic Committees Female Athletic of the Year.
 
Lavell supports Florida’s Make-a-Wish foundation and the Vinceremos Riding for the Handicapped Program. She is also a member of the USA Equestrian Executive Committee.

After Dana Hall, Lavell graduated from Vassar College in 1965. She was honored with Dana's Distinguished Alumna Award in 2003.
