Hillary Bailey Smith '75 is an Emmy-winning actress and producer who performed in theater, film and television. From 1992-2009, Smith portrayed the character Nora Hanen Buchanan on ABC's One Life to Live.
 
Hillary Bailey Smith '75 is an actress and producer who performed in theater, film and television. In 1982, she began her daytime television career with the role of Kit McCormick on show The Doctors. From 1983-1990, she joined the cast on As the World Turns with the role of Margo Montgomery Hughes. From 1992-2009, Smith portrayed the character Nora Hanen Buchanan on One Life to Live. In 1994, Smith received the Outstanding Lead Actress Daytime Emmy.

Smith's film roles include parts in: Palindromes, Maid in Manhattan, It Had to Be You, Lifebreath, Love Potion No. 9 and Purple Hearts.

After Dana Hall, Smith continued her education at Pine Manor College and Sarah Lawrence College.

My freshman year I never would have thought that we would be able to win the EIL league, but this past winter we did! What makes the team so great is how we look out for each other on and off the court. My teammates are my biggest supporters and it’s always great when we get to welcome new members onto the team.
